It's official!
Today, Veronica Pejril filed her candidate paperwork at the Secretary of State's office for the primary election. Today also marks 51 years since the US Supreme Court guaranteed reproductive freedoms for pregnant Americans; these are freedoms Hoosiers no longer have.
The 2023 Hoosier Survey, from Ball State's Bowen Center for Public Affairs, report that nearly 60% of Hoosiers support access to legal abortion care in most or all cases, but the majority voices of the public are ignored by the supermajority in the General Assembly.
As your next Indiana State Senator for District 24, Veronica will work towards providing for citizen-driven ballot initiatives, so residents' voices can prevail when legislators ignore their wishes.
